Responsible Alcohol Sales training is necessary to prevent the illegal sale of alcohol.

In this module, employees learn the laws regarding alcohol sales and the potential consequences of selling alcohol illegally, including how the store and its employees may be held liable for accidents, property damage, and deaths resulting from an illegal sale. Employees also learn how to properly check ID, how to spot fake IDs, the effects of alcohol on the body and the brain, the symptoms and levels of intoxication, and how to refuse alcohol sales to underage or intoxicated customers.
